Founded by Clare Chang and Thomas Williams in 2017, Micio is a team of experienced, solution-oriented creatives and specialists with ambitions for shaping the connections between creativity and industry within the built environment sectors.
Offering 20+ years of experience in industrial, interior and graphic design, wayfinding and signage consultation and project management, Micio has worked on an extensive range of commercial, high-end residential and architecturally designed projects. With a vision to bridge the gap between creativity and industry and add long-term value to our client's business vision, we relish applying our technical knowledge, evident expertise and experience to collaborate with experts in fields to enhance sustainable and memorable spatial experiences.
Active listening, user-centred perspectives and collaboration for innovation have always been the centre of Micio's design thinking and approach. In addition, valuing highly of straightforward communication and attention to detail, we pride ourselves on achieving comprehensive and catered design solutions that not only meet but surpass clients' expectations and enhance built environments for the community.

Thomas Williams
Founder and Director
Driving a wide variety of projects across 20 years of experience in design and project management, Thomas’ passion lies in bridging 2D design and the physical space.
He is the driving force behind the diverse variety of Micio’s project portfolio, bringing a broad depth of industry knowledge of industrial and interior design skillsets. Thomas has led Micio to implement powerful branding, wayfinding and spatial designs across Australia and internationally.
Alongside Clare, the two founded Micio in 2017 with a shared vision to spread the impact of good experiential design as powerful tools for businesses and every opportunity to amaze and enhance how people experience spaces and brands.

Clare is an accomplished, skilled designer and project manager with experience working with renowned local and international firms to deliver commercial, high-end residential and architecturally designed projects across Australia. Dedicated to providing each client with design solutions that carefully cater to all needs and goals, Clare’s design thinking approach is active listening, user-centred perspectives, and collaboration for innovation.
Alongside Thomas, her commitment to bridging the gap between creativity and industry through in-depth industry knowledge and experience is evident through the establishment of Micio and what Micio has to offer.
