17 SPRING ST

Located at the east end of Spring Street in Melbourne's CBD, 17 Spring St is a newly built 33-storey luxury residential tower developed by Cbus Property, designed by Bates Smart, and constructed by Hacer Group. The tower's sculptural and grid-like architecture, stately surroundings, and uninterrupted view of the renowned Treasury Gardens make it an exceptional addition to the neighbourhood.

Micio was awarded the project in 2022 to deliver all wayfinding, statutory, and architectural branding for 17 Spring St after Hacer Group tendered it in 2020. Throughout the project, the scope of work evolved and changed. Micio collaborated closely with Cbus Property, Bates Smart, and Hacer Group to ensure the wayfinding package aligned with the project deliverables and initial design intent by Caramel Creative. Our team worked tirelessly to capture the signage's look and feel while ensuring appropriate materials were used, and the colour palette was updated to maximise contrast.

The development of 17 Spring St is buoyed by the success of Cbus Property's other 43-level Bates Smart-designed residential building, 35 Spring St, for which Micio was also honoured to have delivered its wayfinding and signage.
